Senior Manager, Global Forecasting, Solid Tumor
**General Description:** The Senior Manager, Global Solid Tumor Forecasting will create and maintain the Commercial forecast for Tevimbra (tislelizumab) for the treatment of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC), gastric / gastroesophageal junction cancer (G/GEJC), and additional indications and assets as the pipeline matures. As part of this effort, forecast and sales data will be used to measure ESCC and GC post-launch success in North America (US and Canada) and provide support to global colleagues. S/he will be responsible for managing the patient flow forecast model, incorporate historical actuals to adjust forecast assumptions, and work closely with primary market research and secondary data analytics functions to inform and pressure test assumptions. For potential future indications and assets, s/he will be responsible for helping to derive key forecast inputs and seamlessly integrate these findings into the long-range forecast model. This person will collaborate with cross-functional partners within and outside of Global and Commercial to identify critical business objectives and will help ensure analysis plans are implemented to address these key issues in regional forecasts globally with a primary focus on US and Canada forecasts. This person must be able to engage diverse audiences and possess strong analytical skills with an ability to translate findings into actionable insights. **Essential Functions of the job:** + Manage unit & revenue forecast assumptions in short-range forecasts, pitching in on long-range forecast planning when necessary. Collaborate with team to optimize forecast design + Collaborate with sales analytics colleagues to assess trends, ensuring top-down forecast from patient flow model is achievable and collaborate closely with IC team on goal setting + Create forecast dashboard in business intelligence platform to improve forecast transparency and efficiency and keep forecast handbook up to date + Actively integrate primary research findings with other analytical insights (custom secondary research, ABA performance and strategy) developed by team members within the Global Operations and Business Analytics (GOBA) team. + Work closely with Canada GM and both US and Canada Commercial teams to identify key data required to deliver key insights into business/sales performance. + Support planning of products in development, including evaluation of market opportunities, as needed. + Build strategic thought partnerships and resolve key business issues with cross-functional partners across marketing, market access, clinical, regulatory, finance, manufacturing, and sales. Collaborate with these cross-functional partners, including regional and affiliate colleagues, to ensure appropriate output and reflection in forecast assumptions. + Demonstrate analytics thought leadership and represent BeiGene at key meetings, functions, and conferences, etc., when appropriate. **Education Required:** + Bacheloror advanced degree (e.g. Master’s/MBA or Ph.D.), preferably in business, economics, biological, or medical sciences. **Qualifications:** + BA/BS with 7 plus years or MA/MS/MBA with 5 plus years or PhD with 3 plus years of experience in industry. + 3 plus years of progressive experience in forecasting. + SQL and Python coding skills a plus but not required. + Biotech or pharmaceutical consulting experience required; in-house experience preferred. + Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, and the ability to translate data and learning into relevant forecast inputs and ultimately, actionable recommendations for business growth. + Experience with pharmaceutical data sources (e.g., IMS, SHA, NDC, Verispan) strongly preferred. + Can deal with ambiguity and can act without having the complete picture. + Ability to adapt plans and strategies as new market findings arise. + Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including ability to synthesize data and deliver a clear overview of commercial strategy, opportunity and risks for the Executive Team. **Computer Skills:** + PC, including MS Office Suite **Travel:** + 10-15% All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
