The Product Development Data Enablement BIT delivery lead role is accountable for leading the projects related to Data Enablement, Data products and Analytical solutions in Product Development Enterprise data lake. Role is also accountable for managing the stake holders ie ITBP, Data Platform owners and BI&T leads. Additional responsibilities include helping the technical team of developers in designing, building, and operating the GPS – Enterprise data lake capabilities throughout the technology lifecycle in support of Global Product Development Data Enablement BIT organization. Come up with automation and improvement ideas to reduce the cost and effort.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage projects related to Data and Analytics and Data Products development.Solution architect to design and model new data enablement projects to enable analysts and scientists’ team to take out some insights from data.Based on design and model lead the projects and perform end to end deliveryLead requirement gathering discussions with business to understand the business challenges and provide solution.Technical point of contact for AWS services and helps/support technical team to resolve technical issues.Collaborate to innovate new solutions in Data Integration and enablement spaceReview code built by technical team, provide code review feedback, fix issues in the code.Provide technical support to end users to resolve issues specific to AWS services ie Athena, and other AWS services.Evaluate emerging technologies in data and analytics area, perform technical pilots if necessary and share read out with leadership team.Keep track on project financials to ensure project is delivered within budget and timeline.Gather Data Products requirement based on requirement come up with design models for Data products.Build and deploy Data Products in higher environments in AWS marketplace.Own and maintain git repository for code base.Lead implementation of GxP (validated) projects.Technical SME to operate and develop data and analytics focused capabilities in support of the Product Development Data Enablement BIT OrganizationBuild Data Products using AWS Services ie Glue Studio, Anthea, AWS Marketplace and own these data products.Build awareness of the technology platform strategy and lead releases and make technical recommendations across the data ecosystem. Ability to setup data ingestion pipelines in GPS datalakes using AWS services ie glue studio, S3, LambdaHands on experience in Python, AWS Redshift/S3/ RDS/Athena, Native AWS Services, Database design and familiarity with Domino/data lake principlesHands on experience to build dashboards using Tableau/SpotfireEstablish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to understand requirements for enhancements or prototypes. Provide effort and cost estimations when required to scale prototypes. Come up with automation, innovation ideas and implement them in dataakesRequired:
7-10 years of experience in information technology field in developing AWS cloud native data lakes and ecosystemsHandson experience on building Data Products in AWS MarketplaceHands on cloud technologies AWS and related services in delivering and supporting data and analytics solutions/data lakes. 3-4 years of experience leading the technical team with operations and production support, and optimizing the supporting processExperience working in Offshore/Onshore model.Demonstratable experience in managing projects & priorities and adept at navigating through delivery uncertainties.Ideal Candidates Would Also Have:
Prior experience in global life sciences especially in the GPS functional area will be a plusPriori experience in Cloud technologies – preferably AWS and related capabilities such as storage, compute, catalogue, data virtualization will be a huge plusPrior experience working in jiraExperience working internationally with a globally dispersed team including diverse stakeholders ie offshore technical development team(s)Strong communication and presentation skillsOther Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent is preferred.Project Management (PMP) and / OR ITIL Service Management certification is a plus#LI-Hybrid
