The Senior Manager HR Technology oversees a global team responsible for consultation, planning and execution of day-to-day support and enhancement of GXO’s SuccessFactors HR system in partnership with Functional Owners. The Senior Manager HR Technology will be a functional and technical resource for analysts on the team, providing guidance on all aspects of the employee life cycle and provides strategic and tactical consultation and input on design options supporting processes/transactions. This individual actively manages talent through coaching and providing feedback to improve individual and team effectiveness.  Plans with Functional Owners, Release Management to align resources and scope to milestones. Engaging and hands on leader with system expertise and experience.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

Manage a team of HR Technology Analysts / Senior Analysts Support the team as a Subject Matter Expert for HR Applications (SuccessFactors) Ability to understand and support multiple, integrated applications based on functional needs and priorities. Lead medium to large enhancements and projects, assigning tasks and deadlines to other team members as required. Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements. Train team members on processes, procedures, reporting and configuration. Responsible for managing work of Contingent Workers and SAP partner consultants. Partner with internal business stakeholders on full cycle HR system solutions to solicit/define/document business requirements, research system functionality, recommend viable solutions, configure changes, coordinate testing efforts and production launch Present demos and Proof of Concepts of new designs and functionality to the business Lead team in managing and resolving issues submitted via our ticketing system. Responsible for HR application data management, including fields, foundation data, picklists, position management, business rules, translations, and security permissions. Able to use advanced process mapping and analytical skills to think strategically, perform fact-based analysis, and demonstrate business value. Coaches/mentors staff on HR and HRIS business processes and working effectively within the GXO environment.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or related field or equivalent related work or military experience Minimum 10 years working with HR related technologies as a technical / functional expert with a clear functional understanding of core HR business practices, processes, and terminology HRIS, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Recruiting Marketing, Onboarding, Performance and Goals Management, Reporting and the ability to develop solutions to address business problems and requirements. 4 Years of people management experience SAP SuccessFactors experience in Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, RMK Solid understanding of data systems, including data relationships and data modeling with the ability to learn and understand various data environments Knowledge of project management methodology and principles. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

SAP SuccessFactors certification preferred Ability to work independently and in a team environment Outstanding interpersonal and analytical skills Ability to build relationships and gain trust quickly
