Senior Manager, Indirect Planning & Execution
The Senior Manager of Indirect Planning & Execution at Best Buy will oversee the planning, operations, and supply chain management of non retail materials across the organization. This strategic role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, supplier relationship management, and a focus on supply chain innovation that meets business needs. The Senior Manager will be responsible for optimizing supplier performance, driving efficiencies, and managing risks on a global scale. The position requires a proactive approach to ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of materials while maintaining high standards for quality, cost control, and inventory management. 

This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process. For this role, you must be located within a drivable distance to the Richfield, Minnesota, corporate office.
 
 What you’ll doOversee the procurement of non-retail materials for the Store Experience business needs and customer demands according to contracts, by issuing purchase orders and change orders.Partner with Strategic Sourcing to develop sourcing strategies for non retail categories to align with business objectives.  Indirect categories, including (but not limited to) fixtures, graphics, electronics & supplies.Manage inventories, including delivering materials requisitions, purchased products, and maintaining necessary supply levels to meet business requirements and customer demands. Ensure efficient procurement processes and systems by driving continuous process improvements. Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers to align with company goals and standards, driving accountability for quality, delivery, and overall value.Set and track measurable KPIs for customer service, delivery, and quality.Prepare and lead Business Reviews with suppliers, presenting KPI metrics and providing actionable insights.Identify training opportunities to improve supplier capabilities in meeting company standards.Manage team and establish clear objectives and performance targets to improve efficiency and accuracy of work. Monitor the non-retail material budget and ensure expenditures align with financial objectives. Interpret spend analysis and other data to inform procurement decisions and strategies. Implement technology solutions to streamline procurement operations. Basic Qualifications:5 years of experience in Goods Not for Resale (GNFR), Procurement, or closely related position.4 years of project management and project deployment experience.5 years of experience in a purchasing related capacity negotiating agreements and terms, and funding strategies and techniques.3 years of experience supervising or managing teams of 10 or more people.Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated success building and developing functional teams.  Demonstrated competency managing projects with varying deadlines and tight timelines.Demonstrated success with effectively managing vendor / supplier relationships.Demonstrates using data to influence and inform team and supplier performance and processesIntermediate proficiency using Microsoft ExcelIntermediate experience using PowerBIBachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance or relatedWhat’s in it for you
