Are you a strategic thinker with experience with industrial relations? We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Industrial Relations to join our HR Agile APAC team. Working across our Melbourne CSL sites (Broadmeadows, Tullamarine, Melbourne) and reporting to the Head of Industrial Relations APAC, you will be a key senior advisor of industrial relations strategies to drive impactful outcomes through expert advice. You will plan and implement industrial relations initiatives and responses, focusing on end-to-end enterprise bargaining, dispute resolution and change management programs across CSL (Asia Pacific) with a primary focus on our Australian business. You will provide expert advice and support to our leadership teams on the communication and resolution of disputes, and union/employee consultation processes and ensure compliance with employment laws and policies.
Your RoleDevelop strategies with managers to prevent and resolve industrial disputes and grievances, ensuring compliance with state and federal employment laws.Partner in developing and implementing IR strategies and lead end-to-end enterprise agreement negotiations and represent CSL before the Fair Work Commission.Prepare detailed documentation, such as board reports, business cases, briefing notes to keep relevant parties informed and make appropriate recommendations.Identify and address emerging IR issues, devising strategies to prevent or resolve disputes and align with our organisational priorities.Collaborate with the Head of IR APAC to monitor and enhance the IR strategy, working with the business leaders to achieve sustainable IR outcomes.Monitor organisational change processes and ensure effective communication and consultation with employees and their representatives.Your experienceBachelor's degree in industrial relations, employment/labour law, human resource management, business or related field is essential.Demonstrated experience working in an industrial relations environment interpreting policies, procedures and enterprise agreements and managing end-to-end bargaining processes.Experience working with both trade and professional occupation-based unions.Strong knowledge of legal requirements and compliance frameworks.Experience in a global company in a matrixed reporting environment is preferred.In-depth knowledge of labour laws and industrial relations practices.#LI – Hybrid
