Senior Manager, Interconnect Product Engineering

We seek an outstanding Senior Manager to join our Networking Interconnect Product Engineering team. This role will supervise and manage a team of system product engineers, driving all aspects of Mass Production, Systems, Clusters and RMA engineering. You will analyze, monitor, define, implement, and support production strategies to ensure product maturity, stability, and quality. As a requirement for this position, you must possess strong leadership skills, analytical abilities, Failure analysis, and technical expertise in testing methodologies and engineering processes in a manufacturing environment. You will demonstrate your knowledge of hardware (HW), software (SW), Failure Analysis (FA) and system-level testing to ensure robust and efficient production that result in high availability and top-quality products for customers.
What you'll be doing:
+ Lead the Mass Production product engineering group responsible for production sustain, yield improvement and stabilizing the production lines
+ Lead the RMA Team – Failure analysis
+ Lead and mentor a product engineer team, foster professional growth and development, set performance goals, and conduct regular reviews.
+ Review architectural design (electrical, mechanical, process, software) of the tested units to locate potential design issues.
+ Design, develop and execute test suits to find the root cause for the HW malfunction of customers returned or production material.
+ Connect with inner / external customers for background review.
+ End to End on managing Quality events
+ Collaborate with overseas design, quality, and manufacturing teams to enhance yields, improve the design/process, increase capacity, and minimize production costs.
What we need to see:
+ BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
+ 10+ overall years of relevant experience in engineering roles such as board design, Integration, system engineering, architecture, or test engineering.
+ 5+ years of direct management experience supervising small-to-medium-sized teams.
+ Expertise in failure analysis and lab management
+ Showed experience in board/system-level analysis and hands-on debugging.
+ Hands-on experience with the schematic’s readout and lab tools operation (DVM, oscilloscopes, pattern generator...).
+ Expertise in production manufacturing flows and testing architectures.
+ Strong data analysis skills and an unwavering focus on quality assurance.
+ Familiarity with hardware/software integration and lab measurement tools.
+ Experienced with mechanics, and automated JIGs/fixtures.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
+ Record of experience in a global corporation that manufactures systems.
+ Experience in script languages: Perl, Python and Linux operating system shell
+ Experience in Networking equipment operation (Switch CLI, NIC driver commands).
+ Knowledge in optical hardware design
+ Expertise in contract manufacturer automation.
