We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead Trademark Renewals teams based in Belgrade and be a part of the extended leadership team supporting IP Service Operations. A Senior Manager leads and oversees day to day operations, projects and manages work streams for business.
This role is expected to contribute to the overall success of the Trademark Renewals function by providing leadership to Team Managers and Team members. The incumbent will work closely with the other Senior Managers within this function and across Global IP Service operations. The incumbent will also be responsible to communicate effectively with global stakeholders in IP Organization, Clients, Renewal Agents and PTO’s occasionally.

Lead a group of colleagues based globally, comprising of individual contributors, team managers, and managers to execute department and organizational objectives.
Strategically plan, organize, direct, and assess all business endeavors to align with organizational objectives.
Formulate and execute both short and long term objectives and operational protocols. Define operational objectives for the department in alignment with overall company and business goals, including specific KPI targets per team.
Meticulously monitor and assess operational efficacy to drive sustained organizational success. Conduct regular assessments of business health and priorities, incorporating stakeholder feedback to drive iterative enhancements.
Oversee the financial performance of the team(s), ensuring monthly and annual department targets are met. Develop strategies to drive continual revenue performance and consult with the relevant internal stakeholders to understand the impact of financial closure and guide on the best way to proceed.
Develop a robust mentoring and support system for Operation Managers and team managers to facilitate strategic decision-making. Ensure resource alignment and promote cross-skilling to bolster business resilience. Proactively identify and address team challenges to enhance staff retention rates and improve engagement.
Be accountable for achieving and enhancing operational KPIs. Guide teams in enhancing operational efficiency, formulate preventive and corrective action plans, and facilitate cross-utilization, as necessary. Lead the automation initiatives.
Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to oversee staffing requirements through strategic hiring, training, skill development, and contingency planning to ensure seamless business continuity. Conduct succession planning for the role and help develop pipeline of future leaders as part of colleague development.
As part of IP Ops extended leadership team, lead the efforts on enhancements in terms of process improvement, new initiatives, and automation, implementing solutions to mitigate issues.
About the Team
This team is responsible for renewing customer’s portfolio to ensure safety of their IP rights. The team consist of IP Renewals Analysts, Senior IP Renewals Analysts, IP SMEs and Team Managers. You will be leading a team of 50-60 FTEs including managers and setting it up in a way that this team delivers on the objectives described above.
