Job Description

The EU Issuing Solutions Senior Manager GTM will play a pivotal role in ensuring Issuing Solutions supports Visa’s growth ambition for Value Added Services (VAS). More specifically, the jobholder will work closely with the EU Issuing solutions product management teams, help create and lead the implementation of the EU Issuing solutions GTM strategy. Partnering closely with Issuing Solutions specialized sales, Pismo portfolio and sales teams, network products, Global Issuing Solutions, VAS Cluster leads, Marketing and CS to deeply understand regional nuances for Issuer-centric VAS products, collate the functional, commercial, and regulatory requirements to localize and deliver products for sale to regional clients, as well as identifying potential partnerships to close gaps faster. The role reports to the Head of Issuing Solutions for EU VAS.

The successful candidate must have organizational savvy and interpersonal skills to build fast rapport and credibility. Close collaboration with both regional and global leaders is essential, as is a deep experience in delivering Go To Market strategies for product led organisations. The focus of the role is regional delivery of client-relevant VAS issuing solutions in market, with commercial mindset, with short- and long-term vision.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in fast-paced environments with demanding timelines and will be equally comfortable interacting diverse range of stakeholders of various seniority level. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, business development, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful market penetration and growth.

Responsibilities:

1.    Go to Market Strategy:

Develop and implement comprehensive go to market strategy framework for our key issuing payment productsIdentify target EU markets, customer segments, and positioning to drive market adoptionCollaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to align strategies and ensure effective executionManage framework for commercialization process for new product feature launches, including further solution design,  sales training and develop criteria/operational processes for piloting new launches where appropriateSupport the creation of commercialization plans that drive Pismo’s and Visa's competitive advantage and revenue growth agenda for both foundational (processing and core banking) and customer engagement solutions (digital enablement, tink banking and lending, loyalty) across the region

 

2.    Pismo GTM planning:

Supporting the growth of Pismo in Europe will be a key focus for this role. Working with the Director of Processing and Core banking in Issuing Solutions, devise a plan on how to make Pismo a success in Europe, ensuring the right working groups and steercos are set-up for prioritization and cross functional alignmentDevelop value propositions that combine Pismo with other Visa assets, to demonstrate the holistic value that Visa can bring to the table to address a range of customer pain points

3.    Market Research and Analysis:

Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, regulatory landscape and opportunities for VAS issuing product differentiation in EU and key EU marketsCreate tools to collate and analyze customer needs and feedback to inform product development and enhancementsProvide insights and recommendations based on market data to drive strategic decision makingSupport the ongoing Solution Prioritization process for new, proposed initiatives to create fact based assessments of the projects to provide recommendations for Regional Solutions Leadership

4.     Cross Functional Collaboration and Performance Monitoring

Work closely with product management, Issuing Solution sales, Global Issuing Solutions, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure successful product launches and market campaigns.Establish KPIs and metrics to track the success of go to market initiatives, working closely with finance and marketing business partners.Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams to drive project success, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.Regularly report on performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement, and adjust strategies based on performance data and market feedback to ensure continuous growth and optimization.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

QualificationsExperience in go to market strategy, business development, or product management in the payments or financial technology industry.Proven track record of successfully launching products in the market.Strong analytical, quantitative, commercial, project management, and interpersonal skills.Ability to envision and articulate a long term product strategy to improve the Issuing Solutions customer experience and value proposition.Ability to inspire high performing cross functional teams to create innovative solutions.Disciplined and tolerant of ambiguity, with the maturity to interact and influence across multiple organizational levels.Intellectual curiosity and interest in understanding data, making recommendations, and solving problems.Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize information into key messages.Proficiency in market research and data analysis tools
