OverviewSummary
The Senior Manager, IT Application Development (Sr. Manager, IT App Dev) is a senior role reporting into the Director of IT. Sr. Manager, IT App Dev drives, and provides work direction to Software Developers, in designing and building Frontend (UX/UI), Backend (server-side Integration/Processing), Automation (bots and Intelligent Virtual Assistants), Data Services, and/or Integration Platform as a Service ConvergeOne (C1) software. Sr. Manager, IT App Dev identifies/confirms and prioritizes requirements, drives the technical design, and manages a team of C1 developers and contractors in the coding and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) of C1 software. Sr. Manager, IT App Dev will in some cases undertake coding of complex services and will lead development sprints and daily standup meetings.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions
Designs and develops software incorporating leading-edge concepts for C1 software products of new features for assigned IT CORE products per the product roadmap(s) and continuous requirements definition Designs and develops custom features for IT CORE products Works with other C1 IT teams, implementation cutover and support for new IT CORE products, features, and customizations Provide Tier 2/3/4 Day2 services including troubleshooting, diagnosis, and bug fixes for assigned IT CORE software products Manages/provides work direction for the software development team including Software Developers, Senior Software Developers, contractors, and others carrying out tasks associated with the above Essential Functions building, testing and cutting-over new products, features, and customizations for the assigned IT CORE products Assembles requirements for new features for the product roadmap for assigned IT CORE products where these requirements come from a variety of sources including customers, C1 sales, industry/competitive trends and internal ideation Updates and maintains IT CORE product technical documentation and code repositories Participates in the support of the presales process for assigned IT CORE products

Minimum BSEE/CS or equivalent mix of education and experience 15+ Years’ Experience and In-Depth Knowledge with Telephony and Customer Experience Management (CX) technologies and Application Development 10+ Years’ Experience and In-Depth Knowledge of Lean/Agile Development Methodologies, and PLM Ability to lead a diverse group of developers and contractors using current/next generation methodologies, programming languages, architectures, etc. Hands-on knowledge of current generation programming languages such as Node.js, Angular JS, Python, Full-stack Java, and services such as GitHub Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and other APIs for integrating C1 products with multiple vendors’ platforms Ability to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot the solution for proofs of concepts on latest technologies.
