Job Description
Learning Delivery provides data-driven learning expertise, innovative thinking, and high-quality learning experiences that inspire compliance and operational excellence. This role establishes and manages the team that will execute learning solutions for technical and soft-skill training aligned to business objectives, pipeline prioritization, and ensure compliance with AbbVie policies/procedures and regulatory requirements. The Senior Manager will assess training effectiveness against employee and business performance metrics as defined by AbbVie Endocrinology Inc. (AEI) leadership. As a leader, this role is accountable to ensure the team delivers impactful learning curricula, learning solutions and/or platforms that foster compliance and performance excellence in AEI for the Pharmacy, AbbVie Access Support teams, Patient Care, and Product Support. This role is expected to demonstrate leadership by proactively identifying, managing, and implementing ideas for improvement. This role may be accountable for accurate, comprehensive, and applicable curricula for both internal and external stakeholders and/or innovative learning platforms that drive operational excellence.
+ Establish and lead a team of Learning Partners that will deliver learning curricula and platforms. Effectively balance stakeholder input with expertise and industry trends.
+ Partner with functional leadership to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements are balanced with business objectives and priorities when executing the Learning Strategy.
+ Collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and the learning team to meet business priorities. Partner closely with AbbVie and industry learning leaders to ensure alignment, determine future focus and share best practices.
+ Lead or participate in global, cross-functional initiatives/teams in support of business priorities. Represent Process and Performance Learning during regulatory inspections, audits and process improvement initiatives.
+ Translate strategy into operations and manage multiple changing priorities. Summarize and succinctly communicate to stakeholders the status of deliverables.
+ Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness by creating and implementing measures to track outcomes and ensure alignment to business objectives.
+ Manage and coach a highly performing matrixed team to execute upon the learning strategy that drives excellence in AEI. Accountable to estimate and coordinate team resources needed to meet learning strategy expectations.
+ Establish and maintain a change control process related to learning curricula, programs and platforms. Supports new launches, onboarding, leadership development, employee upskilling and other learning programs, as required. Assess current and future capabilities of learning platforms and operationalize upon leading/lagging trends.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree is required, with a preference for fields such as Learning and Development, Organizational Develop, Adult Education, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
+ Must have 7+ years of demonstrated experiences in execution of strategy in dynamic global environment. Experience in Pharma or other highly regulated industries desired.
+ Able to translate strategy into operations and manage multiple changing priorities.
+ Demonstration of successful coaching/mentoring in a matrix environment and strong vendor relation management.
+ Working knowledge of system design and implementation, user interface design, integrations, data management, testing and transition to operations is highly desired.
+ This position will report into a Director level and may have direct reports or oversight of vendor staff.

+ The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

Salary: $103,500 - $197,000
