Job Description

The Real-Time Payments Consultant will support the development and execution of client’s real-time payment products strategic roadmap. This individual will support the client team in identifying market opportunities, defining product roadmap, and enabling the successful execution of the real-time payment products. The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, compliance, and marketing, to define innovative real-time payment solutions that meet the business goals.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Support the development, planning and execution of a comprehensive strategy for real-time payment products, aligned with the client's vision and business objectivesConduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the real-time payments landscapeSupport the development and maintenance of the product roadmap, ensuring it reflects business goals, market demands, and regulatory requirementsCollaborate with stakeholders to gather and incorporate feedback into the product strategy and roadmap development processAct as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and external partners to ensure alignment and effective communicationPrepare presentations on product strategies, roadmap updates, and performance metrics for alignment with senior leadership and key stakeholdersStay abreast of regulatory developments impacting real-time payments, as well as new technologies and industry best practices to support the definition of RTP product roadmap

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

QualificationsBachelors degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, MBA or advanced degree preferredProven experience of over 5 years in payments strategy or payments product management. Consulting experience highly preferredStrong understanding of the real-time payments ecosystem, including technologies, regulatory environment, and market trendsExcellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functional teamsExceptional communication and presentation skills
