The Senior Manager of Market Research will play a critical role to create and oversee the learning plans and research to support overall business strategy, product development process, go-to-market, and messaging strategy for our products and all business lines within FTI. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market and customer insights, research design, and market trends to drive business growth and innovation. The right candidate will have the ability to create a vision for and build a marketing insights team that serves the total business.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics/Mathematics, or Behavioral Sciences required. Master’s Degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in market research/specialist agencies or client side. Sales Force experience is a plus. Or any combination of relevant education and work experience determined appropriate by leadership.
Ideal candidate will have experience in the following:
Market research, with a strong background in business strategy, product development, and go-to-market strategy. Current research methodologies, behavioral science, and analytical frameworks used to garner insights with accuracy and for application to current business questions. Using and working with research and sales platforms to create market and customer segmentations, product validation, and market acceptance of conceptual offerings. Leading a team, developing processes, and educating and coaching to build high-functioning teams. Managing insights and analytics professionals. P&L Competency and the impact of learning plans on the P&L, Budget Planning and Management. Partnering with vendors and research agencies in the design and delivery of primary and secondary research. Creating customer segmentations using tools like SalesForce and quantitative data platformsTravel: 25%
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. Works a sufficient schedule to meet the expectations of the role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Designs, plans, manages and analyzes marketing research learning plans.Defines appropriate methodologies and overall research plans consistent with business goals. Collaborates and supports interdependence between teams working together toward common goals. Leads design and execution of primary research studies (leveraging qualitative and quantitative methods when applicable) to generate actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholder teams. Designs interview guides, run interviews and synthesize the finding. Applies sound research and business acumen to help the business not just solve complex questions but help it look around corners. Creates market and customer segmentations to help drive clarity and insights into the markets in which we work and operate. Designs scalable qualitative research solutions, tools and processes with sales and GTM teams, Sales Force experience a plus. Partners with external agencies and platforms for survey creation, data collection, and data analysis.Reviews all research materials to ensure the validity and reliability of research findings. Provides input to marketing, product management teams and agencies in the development of materials for testing and go-to-market strategies. Offers brand planning and strategy support through a solid understanding of customer behavior and preferences, Voice of Customer synthesis. Manages projects within budgets, schedules, corporate, legal, and regulatory requirements, adhering strictly to relevant policies and SOPs. Keeps the organization informed of evolving consumer/customer demographics, behaviors, and trends relative to assigned brands and categories using all available information sources, including secondary studies, syndicated data, and custom research. Manages all research share-outs and communications in a way that provides access to teams needing to leverage the work while maintaining clear aligned point of views so that the organization is aware of the one source of truth and what role the research plays in creating that formal point of view.
