What You Can Expect

The Senior Manager Medical Education, focusing on hip and knee reconstructive segments, spearheads the development and execution of these critical educational programs along with leading the associated team. This includes driving strategy that encompasses identifying and engaging appropriate faculty, developing learning pathways and curricula, coordinating and executing events, and continuous monitoring for ongoing improvement.

How You'll Create Impact Partner with business unit leadership, surgeon faculty, and other cross-functional teams to align on curriculum and build contentDevelop comprehensive learning pathways, incorporating multiple modalities and technologies that address enterprise goals and meet learner objectives Collaborate with the Compliance Team to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines governing medical educationCollaborate with Associate Director Medical Education for Early Career Education on strategy for surgeons at different career stages with varying educational needs Partner with Digital Learning Team and external partners to develop and execute extensive library of educational content catered to learner audience Evaluate effectiveness of program design, planning process, and technical execution to drive continual improvement through qualitative and quantitative methods Analyze program needs on an ongoing and annual basis and make recommendationsOwn the program strategy to raise awareness, generate excitement, and garner buy-inDevelop dashboards to socialize program activity and impact with internal stakeholders Manage budget and resources to support the programDevelop professional templates and materials to drive consistency in quality and professionalism to internal and external stakeholdersStay abreast of the latest advancements and best practices in medical education, using innovation and creativity to compliantly enhance programs

 Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor’s Degree plus a minimum of 7+ years of experience in the medical device orthopedic industry or related experience OR a commensurate combination of education and experience requiredLeading people and teams in strategic programs and projects
 Travel Expectations Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and frequently on short notice

Expected Compensation: $140k - $175k + bonus
