JR69320 Senior Manager, Module Design - High Volume ManufacturingKey Responsibilities :
Serve as escalation path for DRAM Module and CXL yield and quality issues reported by Module MFG site teams, escalated due to potential for design related causes or fixes.
Analyze and understand the DRAM Module and CXL MFG yield loss pareto to determine any risks to customer exposure, improvement opportunities and potential DFM improvements.
Propose improvements to data collection and reporting methodologies in production areas to enable improved understanding of product performance.
Serve as escalation path for DRAM Module and CXL quality issues reported by customers, escalated due to potential for design related causes or fixes, including on-site, F2F collaboration with customers and their partners as needed.
Work with Site, Test, Product and Quality engineering to ensure that a robust DFT (Design for Test) approach is implemented on our DRAM Module and CXL products
Complete thorough DFM assessments of Micron Modules ensuring propagation of any lessons learned.
Execute formal FMEA process for all new module designs.
Develop robust approach to regular analysis of competitor products to provide feedback to internal design, manufacturing, quality and other teams.
Individual responsibilities
Lead a team spanning multiple sites with a variety of responsibilities, ensuring strong team member engagement, skill development, career progression and partnership with other organizations at Micron.
Curate, evolve and create as necessary materials for training to both ensure success of new team members and ongoing development and growth for all.
Develop and monitor meaningful goals and KPIs for the team to ensure success and drive continuous improvements.
Develop strong relationships with leaders of global partner organizations to ensure meaningful collaboration and proper R&R alignment.
Ensure proper forecasting and planning for equipment, headcount, budget and other resources for the team.
Report effectively to peers, senior leadership and other teams regarding the status of key issues, performance of the team, etc.
Requirements :
Bachelor/Master degree in Electronics Engineering with 7+ Years of relevant work experience.
Hands-on ability & comfort in using various lab instruments like oscilloscopes, power supplies, Electronic Load, DAQ, DMM and Function Generator etc.
Experienced in working end to end of a product cycle in hardware design including hardware architect, circuit design, Debugging, Manufacturing and assembling.
Solid knowledge and extensive experience developing systems based on the different High-speed. Interfaces like PCIE, DDR, ONFI, UFS etc., and have worked on different communication protocols like I2C, I3C, SPI, UART, USB, JTAG etc.
Good understanding of High-speed board design, SI and PI concepts, well experienced in system bring-up, characterization and debugging as well as knowledge of laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic and protocol analyzers.
