Senior Manager, Multi - Unit Sales
**Position Purpose:** Initiate, develop and manage customer programs for Sysco IFG’s largest chain restaurant brands that enhance customer value and generate sales and profits for Sysco IFG. This includes functioning as a Brand Champion to support LTO’s, test products, new country openings and new product introductions for all chain customers. Must increase existing brand penetration, increase existing product penetration and create new value added solutions that generate sales for the restaurants and for Sysco. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Successfully implement and manage chain restaurant promotions, product tests and new product launches. Identify key team members that will assist in the implementation and management of these activities. Provide status updates to appropriate supply chain personnel at the brands. + Develop and implement plans to increase sales with new and existing customers. Opportunities include new products, vendor direct opportunities, foreign sourcing, small wares and equipment, ocean freight logistics etc. Collaborate with RMM’s for additional suggestions. + Represent Sysco at weekly meetings with major chain customers like YUM!, Wendy’s, Burger King and Chick-fil-A. Objective of meetings is to establish KPI’s and review, communicate new activity at Sysco IFG and receive updates from the brands. Analyze information received and build ongoing sales strategy accordingly. Plan and attend customer conventions. + Customer problem resolution assistance primarily with RMM’s but also with other functional areas including Merchandising, Logistics, Operations and Finance. Schedule ongoing meetings with RMM’s, Merchandising and Operations. Drive customer perception and customer satisfaction. + Reduce customer and product attrition. Develop plan to identify at risk customers. Work with vendors to reduce franchisees purchasing vendor direct. + Ongoing Internal & Customer Training to include Sysco Sales e-Commerce, LTO execution and KPI performance. **Education:** + High school diploma or equivalent, preferred Bachelors’ Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality or Culinary Arts **Experience:** + 5 years in foodservice industry with a focus on working with chain restaurants and international franchisees. **Skills:** + Ability to identify sales opportunities that fit in Sysco IFG’s business model and build a strategy to acquire that business. + Ability to improve customer value proposition and relationships with Sysco IFG top restaurant chains. + Ability to work with restaurant supply chain personnel and franchisees to develop new business solutions. + Basic understanding of international logistics and country compliance regulations. + Knowledge of MS Office, multi-tasking, familiarization with customer service activities/interdepartmental communication, ability to effectively present information and solve problems. + Additional language skills are preferred.
