Senior Manager, New Product Planning
Montreal, Quebec 
Hybrid – 3 days a week on site 
 

The Senior Manager, New Product Planning leads the evaluation of products for the pipeline of Teva Canada. In this capacity, the role is responsible for project management with internal stakeholders, financial analysis and business case creation, evaluation of the unmet need and timelines for a Canadian launch. In doing so, the Senior Manager will evaluate the fit of the product with the Teva Canada strategy, synergy with current and future pipeline, and what is needed to commercialize the product in Canada. This role is accountable for the product and market assumptions, understanding the different launch scenarios, and overall fit within the future pipeline of Teva Canada. Furthermore, this role requires an ability to work both individually and collectively on the product evaluations where assumptions are validated by the individual and presented to our cross-functional team for final validation. Finally, the Senior Manager, New Product Planning will be involved in Global, IM, and local meetings to ensure Canada is considered for mid to long term opportunities.

 

How you’ll spend your day

Lead New Product Planning Process

Collaborate with the local team to lead and evaluate the unmet need in Canada to understand if a product can be commercialized  Research incidence/prevalence, disease and market related information to understand business opportunities within the Canadian landscape Analyze the financial data related to the product to ensure it meets financial thresholds (G2N, GM, S&M, OP) Draft memos to ensure all cross-functional stakeholders are informed and involved in various stages of the evaluation Track and manage several product evaluations at the same time Ensure product status and progress is well captured in Global/Local portfolio systems Create presentations to be used to illustrate recommendations to various teams within the organization Ensure business cases are maintained as new information is received (Terms, COGS, timelines)    

Active participation in internal IM/Global meetings for product opportunities

Key point of contact for Canada on IM/Global product evaluations Vouch for Canada to be part of any IM/Global future product opportunities Provide timely input to ensure product development timelines meet Canadian requirements Liaise with internal team to gather information to share with IM/Global teams as needed    

Reporting & Support

Create and maintain products status dashboard and presentations Create and maintain lists of opportunities with relevant information     All other duties as assigned  Your experience and qualifications University Degree in Business or Science; Preferred: Master of Business Administration (MBA) 7+ years minimum related business experience; Preferred: 10+ years related business experience Experience in Product evaluation, Project Management locally and internationally, financial analysis Experience working directly or cross-functionally in the Canadian pharmaceutical market, and within a cross-functional global network. Product launch experience in the Canadian Pharmaceutical market especially for Biosimilars and Innovative medicines Strong MS Office skills particularly in Excel and Powerpoint A keen awareness and understanding of pharmaceutical industry Extensive project management skills, including organizational and multi-tasking. Good presentation and communications skills  Strong ability to build relationships, and lead with influence Already Working @TEVA?
