Senior Manager, Omnichannel Excellence & Demand Management

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

The role will be critical role to coordinate with x-functions in both GCA and global to support GCA SCM to drive and deliver against the identified opportunities, and also important role to work with Global SCM x-function teams to deliver global best practices, tools and capabilities that are relevant to GCA market online and offline business.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Support and manage to successfully deliver the assigned global and local SCM projects, end-to-end, ideally through applying project management with a standardized methodology effectively. Actively work with GCA FIN to manage and initiative costs and budget Actively manage initiative process, guiding initiative owners in establishing measurable objectives and ensuring alignment with strategic goals, effectively managing execution and completion. Build up high quality and constructive project updates for management review in a timely manner. Act as a liaison to share best practices, challenge the status quo, escalate issues, and identify improvement opportunities through proactive stakeholder engagement.

 

Key Relationships:

 

Internal stakeholders:

Market / Global Supply Chain Development, Tech-PO Market commercial team i.e. Franchise, Retail, Digital, Consumer Experience, etc. Enabling function: HR, IT, Finance, etc.

 

External stakeholders:

Customers, 3rd Party Logistics, SCM Vendors, etc.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

Strong process and project management skills with an organized yet flexible approach to changing needs. Solid x-channel project management experience with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills for effective problem-solving. Strong team leading skill to influence cross-functional project teams towards common objectives. Proficient in managing multiple projects on diverse topics simultaneously. Willingness to learn and adapt to build business acumen and general management competencies. People-oriented with a strong ability to navigate and collaborate across a matrixed organizational network. Confident communicator and presenter with experience engaging senior management Proven ability to be self-directed while working under tight deadlines

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

University degree or above in Business Management, Supply Chain, or related industry. Over 5 years of solid business experience in retail supply chain industry. Proven track record in project management, change management, process standardization, costs and budget management and stakeholder management within fast-paced, matrixed organizations. Proficient in digital tools, including Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, Power BI, KIBANA, and Smartsheet, etc. Experience with a leading management consulting firm is a plus. Experience in retail, FMCG or e-commerce is a plus. Strong bilingual skills – written and spoken Chinese and English. PMI/Project Management certification is preferred.
