About the Role
This role is to handle the company's Operations Governance. The successful candidate will be responsible for the governance of:1. Anti-Money Laundering Alert Clearance & Quality Assurance
2. Operations Compliance
3. Vendor & Contract Management
Anti-Money Laundering Alert Clearance & Quality Assurance
Lead and supervise the BAU AML Team to ensure no backog in the daily AML Alert clearance. Put in remediation actions when there is backlogEnsure the quality of the AML alert clearance by the 1st lineConduct scheduled high risk customer reviews and remediate the information gapsAnalyze and report the status of AML alert clearance, the results of quality assurance on the BAU and 1st line teams, the status of data remediation activities at working level and management forumsAct as the secretariat of AML Working Committee, coordinate with 1st line teams to update the contents of the deck for the Committee’s approval/endorsement, as well as preparing minutes of meetingVendor & Contract Management
Review vendor sourcing and selection to ensure alignment with company's strategic goals and objectivesMonitor vendor performance, quality, and compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements (SLAs)Negotiate contracts with vendors and handle contract renewals and terminationsCollaborate with colleagues to identify and evaluate vendor performance issues, risks, and opportunities for cost savings and improved efficiency.Lead vendor relationships, including regular communication, performance reviews and issue resolution.Ensure that the vendors meet regulatory and compliance requirementsEnsure annual outsourcing assessments and vendor performance reviews are conductedKeep the operations vendor contracts inventory up-to-dateAudit Management
Be the point of contact for all audits on operationsCollaborate with all team members to coordinate audit management tasks and ensure timely completion of all action items.Compliance
Point of contact and reference for all insurance operations SOPs and policy documentsCollaborate with operations team members to conduct scheduled reviews and ensure adherence to SOPs and policies.

Minimum Job Requirements:
We require a bachelor's degree in economics, finance, business, information technology, mathematics, or a related area. If you have equivalent experience, we encourage you to apply as well.At least 8 years proven experience in insurance operations or operations risk or compliance in financial institutionsExperience managing team efficiencyAbility to analyze data and identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvementsExcellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skillsProficiency in independently prioritizing and managing various responsibilities in a fast-paced work environmentDiligent and analytical, with an ability to communicate complex matters in a straightforward manner.
