Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Lead a well-trained, highly effective DC outbound team to pick, pack and ship all deliveries to customers with agreed service levels so as to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and control the monthly and daily operational volume of all channels considering sales plan and DC capacity ensuring maximum optimization of the resources by close working with order fulfilment and other stakeholders. Ensure and plan together with the 3PL (third party logistic) and transportation team the outbound resources to achieve the forecasted volumes and priorities ensuring on time. Ensuring orders are fulfilled and delivered meeting or exceeding consumer expectations during mega sales events by providing effective labor plan, monitoring and measuring outsource labor vendor performance, and solving problems, etc. Lead, propose and implement outbound efficiency plans, coordinating all necessary tasks with 3PL (third party logistic), lean, and main stakeholders to optimize, CPU (cost per unit), UPH, SLAs (service level agreements) and KPIs (key performance indicators) ensuring all targets are achieved. DC project management: Monitor and follow up the Site Improvement Plan (SIP) by planning, developing and implementing new, procedures & process improvements and supporting the implementation of different initiatives defined for different areas looking for cross functional and teamwork environment. SAP Key User, providing training and support to all DC team and leading contact with Local & Regional IT (Information Technology) to ensure all support is provided in timely manner to guarantee correct DC operation. (IT refer) Review DC Outbound SOP to ensure the practice is effectively and efficiently aligned with new business needs; take initiatives for making continuous enhancement in process/system Maintain inventory integrity by working with Inventory Control Managers, and the team through the execution of effective cycle counting, and the strict adherence of established procedures utilizing MA systems. Comply with adidas EHS policy at DC operations to provide a healthy and safe place to work. Provide effective priorities and work plans for team to ensure a high performing and efficient ways of working. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong knowledge of WMS, and warehouse operations process. Familiarity with Manhattan would be a plus. Solid understanding of the interfaces between business systems and WMS Project management skills Good sense of customer service; excellent in communications Fluent in English languages both written and verbal Management skills of vendors, especially related to warehouse equipment
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
University degree of above 6-10 years logistics experience, preferably 3+ years in a large-scale, automated DC. 5 years people management experience, with 2+ year in a multinational company
