The People Analytics Senior Manager will provide people-related data and analyses focused on ensuring the enterprise is able to make thoughtful, data-driven and human centered decisions. A core purpose of the role is to develop analytical frameworks, analyze and evaluate People data to discover and present actionable approaches to key stakeholders and business leaders. The leader has the responsibility to tell the story of our talent landscape and develop a talent analytics strategy that serves our People vision and business strategy.
Responsibilities:Under the direction of the Global People Analytics & Payroll Leader, the senior manager will work closely with the HR COE leaders, as well as, various cross-functional teams, on a wide range of analytical and project management functions to empower organizational decision-making with high quality data, including:
Proactively evaluate, capture, and translate complex business questions into a structured analytical plan, including identification of effective work streams.Utilize hypothesis-driven problem-solving approach to reveal insights and opportunities by accessing, processing, exploring, interpreting transaction / event level data to succinctly tell the story and tie it to business implications.Effectively partner with cross-functional teams & business partners with intent to build strong relationships that ultimately lead to identification of ways strategic analytics team can engage and improve business valuePromote and evangelize a culture of excellence, data driven discussions, healthy skepticism, intellectual curiosity and knowledge sharing while maintaining an environment that is upbeat and funExplore the unknown, brainstorming new ideas, building things, breaking things, and tireless attempt to identify business solutionsPartner with Talent Management research on trending skills and capabilities, key talent and retention strategies, drivers of engagementAnalysis of large data sets to distill insights and connect disparate ideas into cohesive recommendations and executive presentationsAutomation of workforce metrics and dashboards to deliver insights at scaleData quality processes and consistent use and adoption of measures, hierarchies, tools and reporting standards.Approach for predictive analytics, including data requirements, trade-offs in analytical methods, and interpretation of resultsCreation of models to assess trends, project needs, surface challenges, and estimate costsDesign and tracking of project plans to ensure completion of key milestones; integrate with other business processesPartner with Talent Management on survey design for qualitative and quantitative insightsCollaboration with key partners to develop workforce metrics that align with business prioritiesAbility to connect business strategy to talent strategyStrong desire and aptitude for deep analysis, building models, designing impactful data visualizationProven capability to balance multiple priorities, and excellent written and visual communication skillsA strong sense of curiosity about the world and social behaviorAbility to lead a team of analytics professionalsOther duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelors degree required, analytical subject preferred (Statistics, Business, Economics, Engineering or related). Masters preferredExperience working with HR Analytics, Data Science, OR Business Analytics10 years of experience using quantitative and qualitative analytical strategies and working with multiple data sources to generate insights from analyses (e.g. dashboards, tables, metrics), answering questions or creating solutions, and manipulating data (e.g., check for data issues, clean, merge)10 years of experience using data visualization (e.g., tables, charts, graphs) to tell a story and represent analyses to an executive audience3+ years’ experience as a manager; or 3+ years’ experience in a senior managerial role.5 years of project management experienceWorking knowledge of SAP People Analytics preferredExperience with all or some of the following tools; Tableau or MS Power BI, Python or R, or other data analytic tools a plusAbility to handle multiple tasks and responsibilitiesKnowledge of human centered designStrong business communication, presentation and writing skillsAbility to communicate technical information and data to a non-technical audience in a logical, concise mannerAbility to understand strategic objectives and translate into delivery via compelling, well framed presentationsStrong problem formulation and problem-solving skillsSuperior learning agility; able to learn independently from a variety of sources; ability to thrive in ambiguous situationsCollaboration skills to develop buy-in and consensus that drives progress and resultsDemonstrated experience managing one or more departments.Strong management skills with the ability to lead cohesive and productive teams.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management through diplomacy and tact.Excellent oral and written communication skills
