Senior Manager, Performance and Attribution
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Investment Services team at Mercer. This role will be based in either our Melbourne (Docklands) or Sydney (Barangaroo) office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office and is a 12 month parental leave contract.
We will count on you to:
Develop and implement performance measurement frameworks tailored to the Australian and New Zealand markets.Conduct in-depth attribution analysis to identify sources of portfolio returns and provide actionable insights to investment teams.Oversee the collection, validation, and analysis of performance data, ensuring compliance with local regulations.Prepare comprehensive performance reports for stakeholders, including senior management, clients and regulatory bodiesLead and mentor a team of analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.What you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., CFA, CIPM) preferred.Strong understanding of investment principles, financial markets, and performance measurement methodologies.Proven track record in setting up performance analysis teams for multi-sector investment strategies.Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex concepts effectively.Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in investment performance analysis, with at least 5 years in people management.What makes you stand out:
