Senior Manager, PHO Operations & Analytics

Job Summary

Reporting to the PHO Executive Director, the Senior Manager, PHO Operations and Analytics provides management for day-to-day work of the PHO along with advanced-level analysis and reporting in support of this work. This person will work directly with the PHO Medical Directors and PHO Leadership in the design of Population Health strategies and PHO Operational requirements. Responsible for managing the payor contracting, budget, finance and funds flow process and measures, as well as the relationship with the Community Physicians Organization (CPO.) The Sr Manager, PHO Operations & Analytics will work closely with colleagues in Population Health, Finance, Contracting and others to present trends and improvement opportunities for quality and cost of treatment for all Emerson affiliated practices to EPHO leadership team.

 

Minimum Qualifications

Education Masters Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management or related area preferred. Bachelors Degree Required. Experience Minimum of 5 years of relevant health care experience required including management of data analytics and experience with analytic software programs, such as Crystal Reports, Business Objects, Microsoft Access, or similar. Strong computer skills, including SQL, Excel, data management and presentation programs. Demonstrated expertise in managing, interpreting, reporting and presenting data using tools such as Excel and Tableau. Previous supervisory experience required Familiarity with medical terminology, medical classification systems (ICD-10, DRG's, NDC or GPI Codes), relational databases, dashboard presentations and data visualization. Demonstrated experience implementing and managing large projects in complex, matrix healthcare system, integrated delivery system or large medical group required. Licensure and/or Certification None required Skills Strong management skills, including the ability to motivate people Ability to work independently Solid background in project planning and implementation of major initiatives Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong prioritization and problem resolution skills Ability to work with all levels of an organization Analytic skills, including some knowledge of healthcare data systems and Epic EMR recommended Highly effective presentation skills, in a variety of formats to a wide range of audiences. Strong PC / Microsoft application skills including Word, Advanced Excel, and PowerPoint Strong oral and written communication skills Excellent customer service skills. Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English. Computer skills required. Ability to maintain confidential information.
