Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions (BEWS) is the group responsible for leading Ericsson’s Enterprise Networking and Security business. Our growing product portfolio spans across wide area networks, local area networks and enterprise security. We are the #1 global market leader in Wireless-WAN based enterprise connectivity solutions and are growing fast in enterprise Private 5G networks and Secure Access Services Edge (SASE) solutions.

How Will You Contribute to the Company?

Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions is searching for Senior Manager, Platform for its Ericsson Private 5G Solution that provides enterprise customers with Private Cellular Network for mission critical business applications and cellular connectivity needs. As a Senior Manager, Platform you'll be a technical facilitator and people manager, responsible for guiding the team for building a platform to run Ericsson Private 5G Solution. You would help prioritise and organize the team's work, and providing career growth and mentorship opportunities to your team


What Will You Do?

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of highly qualified engineers.

Own the delivery of critical projects.

Build an open, trusting, operationally mature culture.

Support and coordinate with various customer issues and escalations both internal and external.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with product, cross region teams.

Communicate to all relevant stakeholders' status, issues, and plans to executive.

Establish ownership and accountability of the functional area with culture of continuous improvement.

Participate in hiring planning and other budgeting exercises.

Collaborate in technical/architectural discussions, provide direction and drive decision-making.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Eight (8) or more years' experience in Unix/Linux development environments and administration

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD, gitlab processes

Three (3) or more years' experience in a leadership or managerial role within a networking or systems administration department

Strong knowledge of networking protocols, standards, and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, Network Namespaces)

Expertise in security practices and technologies like disk encryption, secure boot, TPM etc.

Experience with Bash Scripting and Virtual Machine or Hypervisor

Experience with programming languages using Python, Golang or equivalent

Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills

Agile practitioner

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment

While there is a primary location listed on this requisition, other locations may be considered

Preferred Qualifications:

Expertise in Linux OS kernel, services, server configuration management utilities (iDRAC, iLO, IPMI etc.)

Experience in Telco or cellular domain
