We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Development & Scale Up Senior Manager specializing in battery production to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in scaling up our new, state-of-the-art manufacturing process from concept to pilot and high-volume production. As a key member of our program leadership team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing new to the world manufacturing process technology to ensure efficient and cost-effective production to meet customer cost, quality, and performance targets.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine manufacturing strategies and plans for scaling up production from development to pilot and high volume production. Research, evaluate, and select appropriate manufacturing equipment, machinery, and technologies required for production. Design and implement manufacturing processes, ensuring scalability, repeatability, and efficiency while meeting quality standards. 4 Conduct process validation and optimization to improve yield, reduce cost, and enhance overall manufacturing efficiency. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and equipment required for production. Lead and train manufacturing personnel on new processes, equipment, and safety guidelines. Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions to achieve production targets and maintain high-quality standards. Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction. Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in battery manufacturing technologies, processes, and materials.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in battery manufacturing, specifically in scaling up production from development to pilot and high volume production. Strong knowledge and understanding of battery production processes, equipment, and materials. Proven experience in designing and implementing manufacturing processes, ensuring scalability and efficiency. Familiarity with quality control and process optimization methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong project management and organizational abilities. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with suppliers and external partners. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The range for this position is $133,039.00 - $182,929.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
