To enable the program to scale for Japan in a sustainable way, Amazon is seeking an exceptional Sr. Manager, Program Management who will be part of a group with the charter to grow and scale the DF program by continually evolving the program by implementing cutting-edge product features and operational excellence. Essentially the team’s vision is to be Amazon’s preferred channel for connecting selection from any supplier to any customer.
This Sr. Manager will be responsible for owning and developing DF program for Japan marketplace, including P/L and business & operational metrics. This individual will lead the team to organize expansions and new initiatives across the program, monitor and measure the health of the program and identify opportunities to continually enhance the program for Amazon customers and suppliers. As a Sr. Manager, you will also be a key contributor to the future technology roadmap and long-term vision of WW Direct Fulfillment within Amazon’s Supply Chain Optimization Technology Group (SCOT). The optimal fit for this role will be a candidate wanting to roll-up his or her sleeves, dive into a challenge, develop a solution, demonstrate strategic thinking, and path forward by working with multiple stakeholders, and convince senior management that their solution is the best one.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead a team of program managers and seller partner service manager and associates
- Hire new team members and develop all team members
- Develop and own JP DF business performance metrics, goals, and KPIs that directly impact P&L and CX
- Develop long-term strategies of JP DF business, influences leadership decisions and product roadmap to scale business expansion
- Work with program managers and business leaders to communicate and impact critical business initiatives
- Evaluate current state using lean techniques, Amazon tools, and data analysis
- Work directly with cross-functional teams to deliver network wide improvements
- Engage other Amazon business units globally to discuss best practices
- Deliver executive-level verbal and written briefings monthly/quarterly
