As Senior Manager, Project Design Management at Hologic, you will be responsible for program management of new product development as well as on-market support of our cytology and digital pathology business segment.
We are looking for people with technical engineering expertise, solid background in project management and experience with product lifecycle development. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are a must.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as an independent leader of complex and technically challenging product development programs and diverse product sustaining initiatives involving cross-functional teams Establish project objectives and work plans including schedule, budgets, and resource requirements Manage large, cross-functional, business critical programs Apply expertise to influence the future strategy of the PMO function and implement best practices Proactively identify and resolve product and project risks Drive for program success while ensuring consistency and alignment across all product development projects by overcoming constraints, problems, and issues Exceed customer expectations, while maximizing value to Hologic and maintaining GMP FDA/ISO compliance
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Experience in Program Management leading large cross functional development programs Experience running programs that included product development, design control procedures and validation Experience within Cytology and/or Pathology marketplace and Diagnostics experience will be advantageous Educational background in Science or Engineering. PMP Certification will be advantageous Knowledge of stage-gate Product Development process Expert in management of project risks Excellent communication and influencing skills Experience with ISO and FDA quality systems regulations and medical design and development cycles
The total compensation range for this role is $160,000-$185,000 and it is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
