Mondelez is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Project & Program Management, Ventures to lead the development and implementation of an Idea-to-Market (I2M) framework tailored for Mondelez Ventures. This role goes beyond traditional project management to focus on designing, governing, and embedding best-in-class processes that drive innovation, efficiency, and cross-functional alignment within the Ventures space.

 

The ideal candidate will combine deep knowledge of I2M framework with extensive project management expertise to deliver scalable solutions while managing ambiguity in a dynamic environment.

 

This role is critical in ensuring Mondelez Ventures operates at the cutting edge of innovation and market readiness. Position will support 5+ business within Mondelēz and have several different reports.

 

How you will contribute

You will:

I2M Framework Development & Implementation

Analyze existing processes and methodologies within Mondelez Ventures to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.

Define, design, and document new I2M processes, governance structures, and methodologies tailored to the needs of Ventures.

Develop a detailed implementation plan, outlining milestones, timelines, and resource requirements.

Be the project manager for the NAV I2M implementation, managing the implementation plan, related risks and attention points, proactively identifying and addressing potential roadblocks.

Provide frequent status reports to NAV leadership related to NAV I2M framework implementation.

Serve as the central point of contact for all I2M framework-related activities, coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Lead change management efforts to embed the new I2M framework across teams.

Together with cross-functional teams, design and deliver training programs to ensure cross-functional teams understand and adopt the new processes effectively.

Act as a champion of change, fostering collaboration and ensuring stakeholder buy-in.

Ensure alignment of the new framework with overall business goals and cross-functional requirements.

 

Project Management and Portfolio Management Leadership

Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.

Drive consistency and quality in the execution of projects using the appropriate I2M methodology and tools.

Identify, assess, and mitigate project-level risks and escalate them to global leads and/ or the program manager when needed.

Provide project and portfolio reporting and status updates using scorecards, status reports and monthly review meetings and leading stakeholder meetings

Identify and manage dependencies between projects.

Manage changes that affect the portfolio, assessing the impact of changes on the entire portfolio and implementing necessary modifications.

Allocate PCM resources across projects to optimize performance. Balance competing demands and prioritize critical projects.

Lead NAV PCM team, coaching and mentoring PCM, ensuring they are equipped to deliver on project objectives.

Set performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and foster professional growth and development within the team.

 

Governance & Continuous Improvement

Establish governance mechanisms to monitor and measure the effectiveness of the I2M framework.

Collect feedback and analyze performance data to continuously refine and optimize processes and governance.

Foster a culture of accountability within the organization.

Excellent project planning and proactiveness in identifying risks and mitigations and managing strict timelines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree is required, MBA is a plus

PMP Certification would be a plus

10 or more years of project management experience

Experience with product strategy

Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience with Product Change is required

Experience managing people is required

Experience within a multinational company is preferred

Strong analytical skills

Ability to deal with ambiguity and topics with no precedence available

Strong communication skills

Systems savvy (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and Accolade)

Ability to facilitate dynamic meetings and work with a wide variety of senior stakeholders

Strong focus on cost, schedule and quality of project delivery

Stakeholder management and ability to influence positively in decision making

Proven ability in building effective teams across internal and external partners

The base salary range for this position is $137,300 to $188,825; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
