Senior Manager, Projects & Regional Planning – New Markets

General Description:

This position is responsible for leading the implementation of Commercial Go-to-Market initiatives in the New Markets territories, focusing on demand and supply readiness with local teams and distributors, and acting as the regional demand planner for new markets.

Act as the New Markets territories Regional Planning Coordinator and orchestrate Forecasting

Coordinate New Market Demand & Supply Activities across New Markets

Lead or Support Demand & Supply Projects from Commercial/Demand perspective

Essential Functions of the job:

Go To Market Initiatives or Changes in Country Distribution Operating Model

Demand & Supply Readiness across all Go to Market Expansions or Changes

Support Shipping Lane assessments on all new or changed Country Distribution Operating Models

In line with the defined in-market Launch Strategy coordinate Supply Readiness of Distributor for 1st import (Process from Forecast, PO to Shipment) to ensure product availability at time of first prescription

Cross functional Project Lead Go-To-Market according to Business Needs/Resources within Go-to-Market Team

Act as New Markets Regional Planning Coordinator

Collaborate with the Country Forecast Manager and collaborate with Distributors and Business Partners to gather all demand within a country, including commercial sales, samples, and the Commercial Named Patient Program.

Compile the demand forecast from all relevant countries within the region into a comprehensive regional summary

Analyze demand changes, their drivers, market trends, life cycle events and assumptions.

Ensure market launch assumptions are appropriately included/updated in the demand forecast.

Gather upside and downside scenarios from country/regional team

Support New Markets Quarterly Review (QBR) on demand/inventory/supply overview

Represent New Markets at Global Supply Chain Meetings

Coordinate New Market Demand & Supply Activities across New Markets with Focus on Countries with Distributor Model

Manage Demand & Supply with third party Distributors in the Countries (Distributor Model):

Organize Demand and Supply Reviews with Distributors identifying risks and defining mitigation plans

Lead Logistics processes and sourcing support (PO, shipping)

Own Relationship Management with Distributors including review of sales and stock reports

Coordinate Country Demand Reviews across New Markets territory with Affiliates / Logistic Providers

Lead or Support Demand & Supply Projects from Commercial/Demand perspective

Product changes, new formulations e.g. capsules, tablets and new indications

Business / Contractual implications on Supply Chain, e.g. minimum rest shelf life

Experience:

7+years of experience in cross functional Project Management covering multiple countries and cultures

You have a proven track record delivering complex projects, advanced knowledge of project management methodology, tools and practices.

You demonstrated the ability to influence and foster collaborative relationships to engage resources outside of direct control, meet deadlines and achieve goals and objectives.

You have good problem-solving ability, breaking down complex problems into distinct parts

You like to work in a team and be able to work collaboratively with and through others.

You have a solid understanding of supply chain goods & invoice flows and source to contract process

You are familiar with ERP SAP, MS Office and Project Tracking Tools like Smartsheet

You are fluent in English, German or Spanish is a plus.

Education Required:

Bachelor Degree required. Master level preferred - preferable in an economic direction with focus on supply chain within the healthcare sector.Project Management Certifications - such as PMP and/or PRINCE

Computer Skills:   MS Office, Project Management Tools, e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet

Travel:  up to 10% of time
