We are seeking an accomplished Senior Manager, Quality Assurance to join our Quality Assurance operations in Durham, North Carolina. This leadership role will be integral to driving a culture of excellence and ensuring that our products, processes, and systems exceed customer expectations. As a key member of the QA leadership team, the Senior Manager, Quality Assurance will be responsible for managing a high-performing team of QA professionals, participating in the development of quality strategies, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class results. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines technical expertise with team management to deliver best-in-class solution for our customers.About the Senior Manager, Quality Assurance:Team Management: Lead and manage distributed quality engineering teams. Ensure effective collaboration and coordination among team members across different locations. Quality Assurance Expertise: Oversee the development and execution of test plans using Native test tools (Android/Kotlin - Android, ObjC/Swift - iOS) for mobile application testing, ensuring high-quality software deployment. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the rest of the Quality Engineering leadership team to develop and implement strategic QA initiatives that align with company objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Development, and Operations to define quality standards and processes.Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve QA processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in a distributed team environment. Oversee the design, development, and execution of test automation frameworks. Ensure rigorous testing of new features, integration and system performance at scale. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with robust testing mechanisms to support rapid development cycles. Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge testing tools, frameworks and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Mentorship and Development: Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence. Manage resource allocation, project prioritization, and career development for team members. Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.Reporting and Communication: Maintain regular communication with the Senior Director, Quality Engineering, by establishing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), such as defect density, test coverage, and release readiness. Provide detailed reports to stakeholders on quality metrics, risks, and mitigation plans.About you as the Senior Manager, Quality Assurance:10+ years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance.3+ years in a leadership role.Proficiency in quality tools, methodologies, and risk assessment techniques (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, CAPA).Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.Exceptional communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.Professional certifications in quality management (e.g., ISTQB, CQE, CQA, Six Sigma Black Belt).Experience implementing AI-driven quality systems or advanced analytics.Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.Master’s Degree preferred.About Digital Turbine:
