Collins Aerospace is hiring a Senior Manager of Quality Assurance in our Medley, FL location. This position owns the execution of Quality Assurance operational goals and plans and requires a proven leader who can build strong relationships, foster collaboration, and develop high-performing teams. The role leads the team responsible for Quality Assurance for the site, setting direction and aligning resources to ensure continuous quality improvement. The ideal candidate is not only a strategic thinker and results-driven professional but also an empowering leader who can inspire, guide, and grow their team. They will provide cross-functional guidance and influence in the implementation of plans and procedures that drive achievement of Quality goals.

This role is eligible for relocation.

What You Will Do

Responsible for promoting, implementing, managing, and maintaining overall Quality Assurance goals.Directs development of plans, guidelines, policies, and processes to ensure the achievement of quality targets.Develops and leads implementation of organizational projects and processes to drive continuous quality improvement.Drives quality improvement processes to ensure ongoing reductions in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and escapes.Directs collection and analysis of quality information from multiple sources to develop long-term quality strategy and programs.Directs production and business process analyses, ensuring quality standards are met and recommending opportunities for improvement.Develops and implements program quality plans and procedures using APQP processes.Leads, motivates, and develops a high-performing Quality team by creating a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous growth.Builds and maintains strong relationships with cross-functional partners to drive alignment, support problem-solving, and champion a culture of quality.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience, or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Qualifications We Prefer

Prior Quality Management experience is preferred in an aerospace or other manufacturing industry.Experience with APQP—Advanced Product Quality Planning and tools.Experience with operational performance improvement planning and execution is preferred.AS9100 experience is preferred.Proven experience managing and developing teams, with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and fostering career growth.Demonstrated ability to build trust and collaborate across departments to align quality initiatives with business goals.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
