Amentum is seeking a Senior Quality Engineering Manager to work out of our Aiken SC office **Essential Responsibilities:** ~Develops, applies, revises and implements quality assurance plans and audits for products to ensure product quality targets are met. ~Plan and direct activities for customer sites regarding improvement to operational and quality processes and programs. ~Maintains quality standards for receiving in-process and final inspection in accordance with company and contractual requirements. ~Possess and apply advanced knowledge to the completion of projects. ~Make frequent decisions using principles and professional independent judgment. ~Provide technical inspiration, leadership, and consultation to professional co-workers. ~Provide leadership and mentoring to junior project participants ~Provide leadership for systems, development, proposals, implementation, procedures, and any related activity. ~Analyze, evaluate, and plan methods of approach and organizes means to achieve solution of complex technical problems. ~Participate in the development, maintenance, and refinement of internal programs and processes. ~Reviews and revises or writes quality assurance procedures. ~Establishes, defines, implements, maintains, and reports on quality assurance key performance measures and standards. ~Performs root cause analysis, implements corrective actions, and monitors progress and improvements. ~Drives continuous improvement through communication and training on quality standards, requirements, and best practices. **Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:** Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and/or experience. 12+ years of relevant experience with Bachelor's degree; 8+ years relevant experience with Masters degree. 5+ years of managerial experience Good oral and written communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.
