Make It With Pride.** A senior R&D leader that drives the Gum and Candy (G&C) innovation strategy across the AMEA (specifically in APAC) region. As a key member of our team, you will build a consumer-centric innovation pipeline, spearhead front-end fuzzy innovation work, and ensure breakthrough products and technology sufficiency. Influencing skills are important in this role because you will use them to partner with business stakeholders to build robust innovation sufficiency funnels, ensuring clear communication and understanding to allow for effective cross-functional decision making. You will also create and maintain accurate technical roadmaps required to fuel the consumer-led innovation funnel. Gum and Candy Category plays a very important role and as a Senior R&D Innovation leader in this category, you will play a critical role in: + Innovation Leadership in Gum & Candy + Technical Expertise + Consumer facing mindset & commercial acumen + Cross-functional collaboration + Communication & stakeholder management **What extra ingredients you will bring:** + Strong proficiency in working in front-end innovation + Experience working in a global organisation with a focus on APAC markets + Expertise in Gum format, technology & strong understanding of the candy format + Strong knowledge and know-how in the confectionary industry + Prioritization **Education / Certifications:** Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering or related field, specialised Innovation Management would be an advantage **Job specific requirements:** + 15+ years of experience + >5 years of experience in managing others + >10 years of experience in interfacing with cross functional parties (internal and/or external) + Fluent English – both verbal and written is mandatory, **Travel requirements:** Need to be flexible and for occasional travel overseas. **Work schedule:** Full time. This role will need to connect with Global Platform/Commercial teams and will require some evening meetings.
