Job Description:

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for the HKRBC and BMA quarterly and annual statutory filings to regulators, coordinate with finance, actuarial and other teams for input.Review journals and financial returns on a timely and accurate manner and in accordance with internal control framework and local regulatory requirementsConduct various financial analysis and reconciliation, address issues/queries raised by management, regulators, internal stakeholders, internal/ external auditorsLiaise with external auditors for queries and requests related to HKRBC auditAssist in adopting new or changes in regulatory reporting requirements from regulators, including leading the gap analysis, reviewing & providing feedback in consultation papers, coordinating the execution steps in implementing the changesParticipate in automation project for streamlining the HKRBC reporting process and ensure alignment with regulatory requirementsAny ad hoc tasks on request

Job requirements

Qualified accountant with at least 8 years of finance and accounting experienceDegree holder in Accounting/Finance or equivalentWorking experience in Life insurance industry or insurance audit is preferredPro-active, possess strong communication skills and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail, able to work under pressure, think and work independently with minimal supervisionProficient in MS excel and SAP is preferredFluent in spoken and written English
