What will you do?
As a Senior Manager, Release Management, you will play a key leadership position to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality software delivery, enabling business agility and customer satisfaction.
Develop and implement effective change and release management strategies, driving continuous improvement and innovation in processes.Lead and manage a team of change and release management professionals.Act as a liaison between the change and release management team and other departments.Engage in any post release issues.You will be co-located with product teams, with possible occasional travel.

Accountabilities:
Strategic Release Planning:
Develop and maintain a release management strategy aligned with business and technical priorities.Define & communicate release schedules, dependencies, milestones across teams.Release Coordination and Execution:
Act as central authority for go-live.Manage E2E release processes, from initial planning through production deployment.Ensure adherence to change management processes, risk assessments, and compliance requirements.Enforce testing standards and monitor defect resolution.Oversee hotfixes, emergency patches, and scheduled updates to maintain system stability and business continuity.Metrics and Reporting:
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as release success rate, lead time, deployment frequency, and mean time to recovery (MTTR), defect density.Provide executive-level reporting on release performance, risks, and post-release outcomes.Team Leadership:
Build and mentor a high-performing release management team.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within the release management functionResponsibilities:
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Act as the central point of contact for release management across product, QA, DevOps, and operations teams.Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize release scope and resolve conflicts or bottlenecks.Change requests: analyze changes & impact and incorporate into release plan.Deployment coordination: Plan deployment activities; coordinate with broader orgContinuous Improvement:
Optimize & automate release processes to enhance delivery speed and reduce risks.Identify gaps in the current process and implement improvements to achieve high release reliability and efficiency.Lead initiatives related to improvements in environments, live application management (e.g. AIOps), and support roll out of DevSecOps and QA initiativesBackground & Competencies
10+ years of technology experience3-5 years’ experience as Release ManagerExperience working with agile release cycles.Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and release automation toolsRelease management experience across multiple products / platforms and geographical areas.What do we offer you?

Hiring Range:
$135,200.00 USD - $169,000.00 USD annuallyIncentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
