Role Description:
As Sr. Sales Manager you will play a key role in hiring, developing and leading a team of Cloud Sales Account Executives in our rapidly growing MuleSoft EMEA ESMB Sales operation. This role works in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Pre-sales, Partner Alliances, Services & HR, therefore cross-company engagement and orchestration is crucial. The candidate will be a high-impact individual capable of driving outstanding business results & first-class employee development. The Sales Leader is fully responsible for developing and leading the team to generate revenue and achieve individual team and organizational quotas. Aligning to the sales strategy, the Sales Leader defines and implements plans for the assigned Accounts to achieve sales objectives. Ideal candidates should possess solid business-to-business Sales and prior Sales Management experience.

Your Impact:

Development of a growing and diverse team who are seen as trusted advisors to our customer(s) and with internal team membersSupporting Account Executives by participating and leading in client meetings and engaging other corporate resources as requiredManagement of a high-performance team, including recruiting, hiring, and trainingBuild strong team unity, internal connections, and collaboration, within the MuleSoft business area and across the Salesforce ecosystemLeading weekly forecast meetingsDriving pipeline generation initiatives to improve revenue-generating opportunities for the customer account(s)Mentor and professionally develop Account Executives regarding strategies to ensure a high level of closure rates and opportunity identificationEngaging at the C-level in customer organisationsDevelop the Go-To-Market strategy for the teamAccurate reporting on sales activity and forecasting to Area Sales ManagementLeading weekly forecast meetingsConsistently supervising and enhancing the sales activities of the teamTo be an enabler of an inclusive and winning team spirit


Required skills:

Proven track record in building/managing high-performance teamsAble to operate and navigate successfully in a matrix / multi-product sales environmentExperience selling transformational technology solutions to major Enterprise customers across multiple industriesPrevious experience succeeding as a manager in solution sales (Software / SaaS / Cloud)A level of interest in, and/or experience positioning/selling Integration / API / Software Development Lifecycle / DevOps software solutionsStrong demonstrated and proven sales experience, working with complex customersExtensive people management experience of a sales teamA passion for building a growing and diverse teamProven ability to create and inspire high-performing teamsExcellent interpersonal skills; able to inspire and build trusted relationships (internally and externally)Passion for supporting team development, as well as for their own self-improvementExcellent negotiation skillsA self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced environment
