We’re looking for a motivated Senior Manager of Sales Education and Development responsible for the strategy, development, and delivery of sales education programs for Lawson. Our corporate headquarters is located in Chicago, IL. This role operates on a hybrid work model; employees spend two days working in the office and three days working remotely. We offer 401k plus vision, dental and medical benefits, as well as a paid holiday and PTO package. **Responsibilities:** + Sets the strategy and develops multi-channel delivery of sales education and skill-development programs for the Lawson MRO and Kent Automotive businesses in North America. + Leads cross-functional creation of sales education programming, spearheading partnerships among departments to develop, package and deploy online and offline education programs that support our go-to-market strategy, growth, and profitability goals. + Partners with segment marketing to deploy relevant industry- and customer-centric selling insights that reinforce our product offering, value proposition, and overall business value. + Supports the go-to-market strategy and business direction of the Company and understands customer requirements to deliver impactful programs. + Creates structured mechanisms to capture quantitative results that measure program success or uncover areas of improvement. + Investigates and understands the adult learning landscape and contemporary sales education tools and technologies. Responsible for curating and managing the sales education tech stack. + Onboards, trains, and develops a team of educators, designers, and technologists to build and maintain a modern and impactful sales education department. + Responsible for corporate budgeting activities for all functional areas of responsibility. + Demonstrates a commitment to our Vision, Mission, and Values (operates with integrity, and is progressive, results driven and team oriented.) + Assists with other duties and projects as directed by management. Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be assigned as necessary. **Qualifications & Requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree emphasizing training, human resources, business, communications, or sales knowledge, plus seven or more years of direct sales and/or management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Business acumen, with an understanding of business decision implications and objectives. Displays orientation to profitability. Aligns work with strategic goals. + Strong project management skills; ability to structure detailed project plans, marshal resources, and identify and manage dependencies and deadlines. + Proven track record of training and enabling direct salespeople to achieve success. + Proactive and self-motivated working style; able to anticipate sales' needs and challenges. + Energetic and engaging; strong ability to present well in front of groups. + In-depth knowledge of sales tools and learning management technologies; in touch with best-practice methodologies. + Develops strong cross functional relationships and the ability to navigate and achieve results in the corporate environment. + Strong skills in curriculum development, communication planning, presenting information to audiences of various sizes, meeting facilitation, project management, and sales processes. + Solid understanding of sales analytics. + Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and quickly implement solutions at a global level. + Results-oriented, with a proven ability to complete projects within budget and by deadline. + Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to all levels of the organization. + Proven ability to lead through influence and motivate at all levels. + Passionate about making meaningful contributions. Our salary range for this role is $106,800 - $128,160 including a full benefits package.
