Commercial Serviceable Assets (CSA) organization, within Pratt & Whitney, is seeking a sales representative/model manager to be based in East Hartford Connecticut or Dallas, Texas. The successful candidate should have a background with the CFM56 engine product, Auxiliary Power Unit (APU), in addition to the Pratt Whitney product family. The focus of CSA is to provide customers increased value through alternative material offerings and flexible tailored solutions. 

What You Will Do:

Develop and manage effective customer relationships and build credibility as a strategic business partner of the customer.

Lead acquisition of engines by submitting bids and coordinating the teardown of assets for repair and overhaul engine components.

Experience in the aviation market, identify opportunities and threats, and develop strategies to meet objectives.

Gather data as it relates to material demand, forecast, and sales of jet engine spare parts.

Strategize to maintain or grow customer revenue.

Proactively sell material to capture incremental business.

Provide CSA offerings as well as incentive offerings (as it relates to spare parts).

Handle all aspects of customer order administration.

Support day-to- day operational issues at the customer site/business.

Work with Purchasing team for procurement and repair of material

Participate in / lead off-hours customer support conference calls (global requirements).

Establish full year and monthly financial projections / updates for customer to be incorporated into CSA sales financial plan.

Provide coverage, as needed, to assist co-workers.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years of experience to include extensive experience with the CFM56 engine model, customer relationship focus, material demand planning and managing large data sets; or an Advanced Degree and 7 years of experience to include extensive experience with the CFM56 engine model, customer relationship focus, material demand planning and managing large data sets

Ability to lead with influence

Qualifications We Prefer:

APU Auxiliary Power Unit experience

Five years of related aftermarket sales experience

Business level written and verbal communications skills

Ability to work independently with cross functional teams

Knowledge of SAP

Experience favorably resolving complex business and sales issues

Have expert knowledge of the airline Industry

This role is:

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
