Senior Manager, Sales Personal Care Solutions, Greater China(006441)
= Objectives =
• Lead the area team to achieve sales target and KPI with proper sales strategies and tactics, line with the general strategy of BASF.
• Deeply understand the market and customer need, then well link them to BASF solution for business development, collaborating with all the internal and external resources.
• Provide input for account plan, pricing proposal and market intelligence.

= Main Tasks =
Safety and compliance
• Continuously develop and implement appropriate measures to ensure safety at workplace & during business trips. Develop and implement preventive measures to ensure compliance as defined by company’s Code of Conduct

Sales and business development
• Work out growth plan for business development and well implement it.
• Identify customer needs through deep understanding of market / customer trends and match them with own capabilities
• Define and implement sales steering processes like sales pipeline
• Meet or exceed operational requirements: analytical reporting, cost initiatives, reviews, forecasting, etc.
• Be active team player and behavior role model, to cohere team member coming from different background.
• Provide leadership for sales teams in designing customer specific solutions.
• Coach and develop the team properly for good team sprits.

Distributor Management
• Discuss and set up target agreement including commercial target and service expectation target with distributors
• Close monitor distributors business development and evaluate performance to ensure distributor can achieve their target


= Job Requirements =
• Master degree is preferred, in Science and/or Business Administration or related discipline. Bachelor degreed can be accepted when other competency and experience are very good.
• Minimum 12 years’ relevant working experience of sales and marketing, preferably in a technical service and/or business development field
• Management and leadership experience.
• Solid selling skills with a proven track record of problem solving and decision-making ability.
• Result and customer oriented.
• Excellent command in English.
