About the Job
The Senior Manager of Sales Strategy is responsible for the development of customer Go to Market Strategies and Plans for Opella’s Rx to OTC Switch candidates. Representing the voice of the customer and the field sales team, this position plays a critical role in ensuring successful launch execution across all major customers and classes of trade, including both traditional classes of trade as well as eCommerce and specialty channels.

Main Responsibilities:
Develops customer/category retail trade objectives and strategiesDevelops trade investment strategies to drive maximum sales, profit and ROI for the switch candidatesWork closely with marketing to develop and execute launch plans consistent with the overall brand launch strategies.Collaborate with customer teams to develop customized launch plans for each major customerProvides customer call support where needed as the brand and category expert.Engages with marketing teams with sales and retailer feedback & perspective to guide brand strategy and product developmentCoordinates the development of merchandising assets including in-line shelving, display, and speed to distribution packs.Implement category strategies and visions across customers lead and support the implementing of promotional strategy across customers in-line with brand prioritiesDevelops channel trade plans and product promotional strategiesTranslates brand marketing actions into customer actionsContributes to category marketing plans with customer and category analysis, promotional strategiesKey contact for the marketing teams and other commercial functionsDevelops go-to-market strategies for related category reviews with major retailersContributed to demand planning process, including pipe fill expectations on on-going demand forecastingAbout You
BA/BS from an accredited college or university with a focus in business analytics preferred. MBA a plus.5-8 years of experience in Sales Strategy or similar role with a proven analytic track record.Rx to OTC switch experience highly preferred.Comfortable working with complex data across multiple sources to develop actionable insights and strategic recommendations. Expert-level knowledge of Nielsen/IRI and experience with Homescan Panel is expected. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly motivated worker and thinker; team oriented.Ability to organize and present data in a business case format utilizing Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations. Strong organization and analytical skills, as well as attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities. Proficiency with retail and CPG analytics.Must have a demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft business: expert knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Access.Why choose us?
