Senior Manager, Search Engine Optimization

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager of SEO to lead and expand our organic search initiatives for Newfold Digital’s APAC brands; Crazy Domains, Vodien, Digital Pacific, Freeparking & BigRock. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving significant organic growth, leading high-performing teams, and navigating the complexities of SEO in competitive markets. This role requires a visionary leader who can align SEO strategies with business objectives to maximise ROI. 

 

What you’ll do & how you’ll make your mark. 

 

Strategic Leadership: 

Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies that align with overall business goals Drive performance and achieve SEO KPIs for 5 Web Hosting brands across APAC Identify growth opportunities through market analysis and emerging SEO trends 
 

Content Optimization: 

Work closely with content and marketing teams to create high-quality, SEO-friendly content 

Implement a keyword strategy to target high-value search terms and optimise existing content 
 

Organic Video Strategy: 

Execute strategies for organic video content to boost brand visibility and engagement 

Collaborate with video production teams to create SEO-optimized videos for platforms like YouTube and social media 

Optimize video metadata, descriptions, and tags to enhance search rankings and discoverability 
 

Data Analysis and Reporting: 

Monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs 

Prepare and present regular reports on SEO performance, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership 
 

Technical SEO: 

Oversee technical SEO audits and implement best practices to enhance site architecture, crawlability, and indexation 

Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize website performance, including page speed and mobile responsiveness 
 

Team Management: 

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of SEO specialists 

Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team 

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

Partner with product management, designers, and developers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into product development cycles 

Coordinate with the paid search team to align organic and paid strategies 
 

Who you are & what you’ll need to succeed. 

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent experience in the SEO and Digital Marketing field acceptable. 

Minimum of 7 years of SEO experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role 

Proven experience managing SEO for large-scale websites, preferably in the web hosting or tech industry 

Deep understanding of SEO best practices, algorithms, and ranking factors 

Deep understanding of Answer Engine Optimisation, and AI tools 

Deep understanding of content marketing, including experience building video, blog, social and UGC programs 

High proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog, Moz 

Preferably knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platformsLStrong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams 

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels 

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies 

Ability to think strategically and execute methodically 

Highly organized with strong project management skills 

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment 

Passionate about staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies like AI
