Job Description

Overseeing site security teams and reporting to the Regional Security Director, the Senior Manager Security will collaborate extensively with local, regional and global partners in the delivery and implementation of the physical security program at sites across the country.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Management and oversight for the implementation, maintenance and development of consistent security programs, procedures, systems and technology, across all sites within country, ensuring the security and safety of Western Digital personnel, visitors, facilities, data and assetsProvide effective management and leadership to on-site security teams, including supporting the development, growth and performance of their teamWork closely with key stakeholders to develop a comprehensive, consistent, compliant security training and awareness program across sitesManagerial responsibility for site security performance, KPI’s and performance metrics. Oversight of site security financial budget planning and forecastingDevelop and implement improvement strategies through data analytics and use of emerging technology.Collaborate, communicate and engage with multiple local, regional and global security partners and stakeholders, developing effective working relationships to ensure superior operational outcomes, security service delivery and policy alignmentOversee delivery of physical security and CapEx projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment to specified strategic objectives, timelines and budget constraintsProactively identify security good practice, gaps, vulnerabilities, driving improvement and development across all areas of security delivery, related capital projects, supported events and requests from other business unitsProvide managerial support to multiple internal and external site audits and compliance processes, including the tracking, monitoring and delivery of improvement measures aligned to findingsOccasional country and regional travel to support sites

QualificationsA minimum of 7 years related work experience within security, safety, and/or risk management, with at least 3 years in a security facing management roleExperience of leading, developing and growing a diverse, high performing distributed team / workforceFamiliarity with laws, regulations and industry standards related to security and safety in a manufacturing environment in ThailandKnowledge of security programs and emerging technologies including access control, CCTV systems and related processes in a distributed campus environmentDemonstrate a commitment to continued professional development within the security sector

Preferred: 

Preferred experience is through delivering security programs within a corporate environment. Alternatively, experience within a security organization, law enforcement, military, intelligence, public service or risk management environment would be consideredExperience of security vendor management including contract negotiation, KPI’s and quarterly reviewA Bachelor's degree or higher in security, risk management, safety, business or a related field

A requirement to learn and use internal reporting systemsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
