This position will support global sales teams through the creation, review, and maintenance of security collateral as well as the creation of training and education programs to ultimately empower sales teams to evangelize Lenovo’s strong security posture. This position will serve as a security subject matter expert in support of sales efforts around Lenovo’s security operations and offerings, as well as supporting Lenovo’s Government Relations (GR) program outreach efforts globally. As a member of a cohesive team, the incumbent will also have an opportunity to work in other security areas to help drive our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and be an ambassador for our strong Lenovo security culture.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Managing the global security support engagement processCreating security education and training programs for sales and non-sales employees, executives, and senior executivesIn partnership with Lenovo GR teams, provide support to GR program efforts, including, but not limited to geopolitical and security-related subject matter expertise to global federal, state, and local organizations.In partnership with Lenovo Communication and Marketing teams, create, review, and maintain security collateral for internal and external use in alignment with Lenovo’s global security programs and narratives 

Basic Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s Degree required. Strong preference for degrees in computer science, information technology, or cybersecurity disciplines10+ years comprehensive experience in Product Security, Supply Chain Risk Management, Cybersecurity/Information Security, and/or Physical SecurityExperience managing and navigating CRM tools (such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics) and sales enablement platforms (such as SAVO or Highspot)This role will require travel (at least 30%) 

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in technology or security-related discipline strongly preferred (MBA satisfactory if held in conjunction with other requirementsSecurity certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, OSCP) a plusDemonstrable experience in various security domains including risk management, compliance, security strategy, security engineering, and/or operationsExtensive experience interacting with and successfully developing and managing relationships with internal and external customers (entry level to senior executives)Experience in security consulting with a mid to large-size consulting firm/practice is a plusAbility to effectively communicate with a wide range of technical and non-technical personnel at all levels of the organizationStrong ability to manage and quickly adapt to multi-faceted requirements within Lenovo’s security enterprise areasStrong creative ability and an innovative, entrepreneurial mindset Demonstrated technical knowledge and competency using Microsoft SharePoint or similar platform to create websites that store, organize, share, and access informationExceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skillsStrong ability to build credibility quickly with internal and external stakeholdersDemonstrable skill in navigating highly-collaborative, complex, matrixed organizationsStrong ability to manage ambiguous situations assertively but tactfullyAbility to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.
