Job Summary:

The Senior Manager will craft the new product and services strategic roadmap to directly support the overall strategy of the Aftermarket Services Business.  This role will be instrumental in the cross-functional alignment between Product Development, Sustaining Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, and the rest of the Cirris Services team to ideate, develop, and launch new products and services. 

In conjunction with the long-term planning, this role will actively work to translate vision to operational execution along the three dimensions of: Accessories, Upgrades, and Services Development across both aircraft product platforms – SR and SF.  The scope of this activity will include managing teams of engineers and product/project management personnel.

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions

Develops the U&A Product & Services Roadmap with direct alignment to the overall Aftermarket Services Roadmap Plans and directs the activities necessary to ideate, develop, and launch new products and services Expands the existing U&A portfolio to drive financial growth for the overall Aftermarket Services team Manages yearly initiative planning and budget planning for the group Prioritizes the group workload and assigns work Looks for cross-functional opportunities for continual updating of Cirrus Aircraft policies and procedures and appropriate ways to communicate with team and partners Consistently exhibit exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers, while demonstrating Cirrus Aircraft’s mission, vision, values, and the Steps of Service Hiring and termination of employees within the group Employee performance management, including annual performance reviews Training and mentoring of employees (including onboarding and recurrent training) Reward and recognition for employees Weekly reporting of group progress and status Distribution and enforcement of policy and guidance from Senior Management Establish communication protocols for vertical and lateral communications within the organization Other duties as required or assigned

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field required Master's in Business Administration preferred Five to seven years’ experience in product development & engineering management related work required Three to five years’ experience in project management required
