Senior Manager, Site Reliability Engineering

Ping Identity is looking for a talented Site Reliability Engineering Manager to join our PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud team. We provide dedicated cloud tenants using Ping IAM software in a secure, efficient, data-isolated, and compliant manner for large enterprises.

As a SRE Sr Manager, you will lead a team of engineers in the development, delivery and optimization of services to our customers with a focus on security, quality and efficiency. This team works alongside a global set of teams to support and enhance our cloud based offerings that are the backbone of many Fortune 100 companies.

You'll do:

Lead a team of SREs and be directly responsible for uptime Collaborate with other leaders to provide a world class cloud platform Drive initiatives that enhance the availability, scalability, and performance of global infrastructure and services, minimizing downtime and service disruptions. Build tools, services and establish processes both within and around the application stack. Work with engineers on the design, deployment and continuous improvement of important infrastructure services (i.e., logging, monitoring and alerting) Provide clear vision and leadership to ensure your team's contributions align with company objectives. Coach and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Take ownership of high-priority customer escalations and ensure timely resolution.

You'll have:

10+ years of technology leadership focused on SaaS primarily in identity and access management (IAM) domain and/or Security 10+ years of experience in distributed cloud-based software development with strong automation mindset 5+ years of leading and managing cloud-based application DevOps/SRE team(s) with an on-call rotation 12+ years of experience in various elements of full-stack software development front end, back end, data and analytics, and hands-on coding experience in the past Experience in Incident Management Prior experience in a fast-paced and high-growth company and are comfortable with putting systems in place and adjusting and adapting when needed Passion for learning and working with others to improve yourself, the team, the product, and the company

You have an advantage if:

Programming and scripting abilities across a range of languages e.g., Java, JavaScript, Go Extensive experience with CI/CD tools - Jenkins, Gitlab, ArgoCD 3+ years hands on experience configuring and managing GCP services Strong understanding of version control (git), branching & merging strategies, and build setup Hands on experience with Kubernetes applications
