Senior Manager, Software Engineering - NIKE, Inc. - Beaverton, OR. Lead development teams delivering end-to-end technology solutions for Nike Inc. across the SAP landscape. Ensure team is leveraging Nike’s global technology delivery methodology. Develop and manage team metrics. Work closely with multiple functional partners (Finance, Order Management, Planning, Delivery, Converse, AirMI) to design and build SAP solutions that meet business requirements and are aligned with the strategic priorities identified for Global Technology. Develop technical roadmaps for SAP applications and execute plans to implement these roadmaps with a consistent cadence. Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and make recommendations to management. Manage a team of developers setting up priorities as well as technical guidance to properly deliver commitments. As a people’s manager role this position will be required to actively participate in the performance review process of the team, helping setup goals, identify development opportunities as well as providing recommendations to grow their career and/or to successfully perform their role. This position manages a team of 3-5 developers and additionally manages contractors onshore and offshore (India). Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY.
Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology and 7 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or an engineering-related occupation.
