What you'll do...

As a Senior Engineering Manager on the Sam's Tech team, you will be leading the Sam's club Membership Front End engineering team. You will manage a team of high-performing engineers who work on designing and developing front end journeys for membership, such as join/renew and upgrade. The goal of the team is to provide members with the least friction-filled experience.

What you'll do:

Lead engineering team to plan, design, and implement Membership journeysSupervise a team of 8 to 12 developers who are responsbile for designing, developing and debugging FE code. Manage multiple initiatives, prioritizing tasks and resources to deliver projects on timeCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, UX, and business teams to define project requirements, scope, and timelines.Ensure the team adheres to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget.Provide technical guidance, support, and coaching to team members, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovationDrive the initiatives for engineering and operational excellence

What you'll bring:

4+ years of software development experience. FE development experience is a plus. 2+ years experience as a technical lead Experience leading front end engineers is a plus Experience with leading multiple simultaneous initiatives Familiarity with Agile development methodologiesExceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.Good communication skills, with the ability to discuss complex technical problems with engineers, other feature teams, and leadership stakeholders Servant leader who leads by example, creates a positive work environment, challenges each team member, and takes pride in helping advance the career of each team member

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00

Minimum Qualifications...
