Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives
Position Summary...Are you passionate about driving sustainability and making a significant impact? As a Project Management Manager at Walmart, you’ll lead key initiatives in Private Brands, Global Sourcing, and Merchandising to develop and embed social and environmental sustainability strategies. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with executive leaders and leverage Walmart’s resources to create meaningful change.

What you'll do...

Develop and implement sustainability strategies that align with Walmart's business objectives and values.

Collaborate with merchants and suppliers to integrate sustainable practices into the supply chain.

Identify and assess sustainability risks and opportunities and develop strategies to address them.

Partner with cross-functional teams to embed sustainability into business processes.

Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of sustainability initiatives.

What you’ll bring:

Experience in developing and implementing sustainability strategies within a large organization.

Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Proven ability to identify sustainability risks and opportunities and develop effective strategies.

Excellent communication skills for articulating sustainability initiatives to stakeholders.

Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulatory changes related to sustainability.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Science, Communications, or related field and 4 years’ experience managing cross-functional projects for governmental or non-governmental organizations, consulting firms, or corporations OR 7 years’ experience managing cross-functional projects for governmental or non-governmental organizations, consulting firms, or corporations.
4 years’ experience managing project teams in a matrix environment.
