Summary
The Senior Manager, Strategic Planning will be accountable for understanding, developing, and communicating the strategic priorities of Bell's Consumer Channel organization. The candidate will work closely with the Director of Strategy and Planning and the Vice President of Sales Operations and Enablement on quarterly planning, annual long-range plans and budgets, as well as strategic plans and in-depth analyses of channel-specific topics as needed.
The successful candidate is a team player with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders in decision-making and has prior experience developing executive-level communications.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and synthesize quarterly Channel plans
Collaborate with Channel Enablement, Compensation, Real Estate, Retail Enablement, Channel Forecasting, and frontline sales teams to articulate the Channel organization's vision.
Analyze sales drivers and data to develop actionable insights.
Prepare and present communications of Strategic goals to senior leadership team
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and communicate business priorities.
Provide input to strategic planning, business planning and budgeting exercise
Understand reporting and analytics of the Channels across retail, Neighbourhood marketing, online and Call centre
Critical QualificationsStrong business acumen and understanding of BCE's definition of success.
3+ years of experience developing executive-level communications.
Proficient in PowerPoint.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Advanced knowledge of Excel, including Think-cell.
Ability to synthesize data to create compelling narratives that inform decision-making.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate ideas.
Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
Experience working in a large organization and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
Self-starter with the ability to manage and drive projects independently, even with limited supervision, and to manage multiple projects effectively.
Preferred QualificationsUniversity degree in Business, Economics, Marketing and/or related discipline
Experience in Telecommunications or Sales assisting roles would be considered an asset
