About the Role

This role is essential for supporting the creation and maintenance of the Innovation strategy and ensuring its proper execution across the organization. The Senior Manager will:

• Support the development and periodic refresh of the Innovation strategy: Ensure it aligns with the goals of both the Group Office and Business Units
• Ensure the strategy is properly executed: Monitor and report on the progress of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Define framework, standards of practice and governance approaches: Establish and maintain best practices for innovation implementation
• Manage AI risk and oversee solution approval processes: Serve as a delegate of the Group Innovation Office to manage AI risks and oversee the solution approval process with Group Technology and Finance Office

Roles and Responsibilities:

Strategy Support and Execution:

Assist in the creation and periodic refresh of the Innovation strategy, ensuring alignment with Group Office and Business Units

Ensure the Innovation strategy is properly executed across the organization

Monitor and report on the progress of strategic initiatives and their alignment with business objectives

Governance and Risk Management:

Serve as a delegate of the Group Innovation Office to manage the risk of artificial intelligence

Establish and maintain Group-wide governance framework – policies, standards and guidelines – for Innovation, including establishing and embedding an effective implementation framework and operational governance that systematically delivers innovations to the LBUs

Oversee the solution approval process with Group Technology and Finance Office, including SDLC, project approval governance, and AI Council

Ensure compliance with industry best practices and responsible innovation principles

Identify and mitigate risks associated with AI and other emerging technologies

Specifically on AI/Gen AI, provide guidance on creation and enhancements of the responsible usage, creation of AI quality standards policies

Solution Approval and Oversight:

Manage and oversee the solution approval process, ensuring all projects meet the required standards and guidelines

Collaborate with Group Technology and Finance Office to streamline the approval process

Ensure transparency and accountability in the approval and implementation of technology solutions

Stakeholder Engagement:

Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution of governance and risk management initiatives

Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams to drive project success

Minimum Job Requirements:

Advanced degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field

Proven experience in strategy development and governance, particularly in technology or innovation projects

Strong understanding of AI risk management and solution approval processes

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior executives

Fluency in written and spoken English essential

8+ years of experience in strategy and governance roles
