Job Description

The incumbent will oversee and drive the bank's strategic initiatives and programs to ensure the successful execution of its objectives. This role will focus on enabling the effective alignment of the bank’s operations, strategy, and culture to deliver sustainable business outcomes. 

The incumbent will collaborate closely with executive leadership, project teams, and stakeholders to design and implement strategic programs that support the bank's vision and goals. This position will play a key role in fostering innovation, driving organisational efficiency, and enabling the bank to adapt to evolving market demands. 

The role of the incumbent is to drive business transformation, revenue diversification, and strategic business development. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying and executing high-impact initiatives that enhances growth. The incumbent will be responsible for evaluating business cases, assessing project viability, and advising the Chief Executive (CE) before initiatives are presented at the executive level.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance Management, Project Management, Engineering or Chartered Accountant.

Additional Information

Experience:

6 years: Experience managing broad range of projects to completion to achieve defined business objectives or metrics.6 years: Significant experience in influencing stakeholders at different levels across a multiple of disciplines to achieve shared outcomes, specifically within a financial services environment.

Program Management and Execution: Provide program management expertise to support the successful delivery of multiple high-impact initiatives across the business and other strategic areas. 

Insights, Reporting, and Stakeholder Engagement: Analyze and synthesize data to generate actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making by leadership. 

People, Culture, and Leadership: Act as a change agent, influencing the adoption of new processes, technologies, and ways of working that align with the bank’s strategic direction. 

Budget and Resource Optimisation: Manage the strategic enablement budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to support high-priority initiatives.

Business Continuity and Resilience: Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure strategic enablement initiatives are resilient and adaptable to evolving business and market conditions.
